Funding occurs every 8 hours at: 00:00 UTC, 08:00 UTC, and 16:00 UTC. The best entry timing:
- 5 minutes before funding: Catch the current funding period
- Immediately after funding: Enter for the next full 8-hour period
- Avoid: 30 minutes before major news events
Best Days of the Week
Funding rate spreads tend to be widest mid-week (Tuesday-Thursday) when trading volume is highest. Weekend funding rates are often more extreme due to lower liquidity.
