- Funding direction — if it’s deeply positive, longs are paying shorts and a flush is possible.
- Fear & Greed — extreme readings are contrarian signals. Fear historically = buying window; Greed = profit-take window.
- Open interest trend — rising OI + flat price = leverage building (expect a wick). Falling OI = positions closing (trend exhaustion).
