🧠 Market Intelligence Summary
- 🔴 Extreme Fear — Historically strong buying zone. Markets are panic-selling. Patient traders accumulate here, but timing the exact bottom is impossible. Scale in, don’t go all-in.
- 📊 Fear & Greed 7-day trend: declining — Current: 11, 7d avg: 22, range: 11–29
- ⚡ Extreme funding: APT at -0.0583% — shorts paying longs (bearish contrarian). Crowded positioning increases squeeze risk.
- 📉 BTC is down -7.0% in 24h — Risk-off mode. Altcoins tend to follow. Consider reducing leverage or waiting for stabilization.

☐ Do multiple exchanges agree on direction?
☐ Is OI rising or falling alongside funding?
- ☐ Where is BTC vs 30D support/resistance?
☐ Is volume above average confirming the move?
☐ Are gainers/losers telling the same story?
- ☐ Does the trade work after fees + funding?
☐ What’s the invalidation level?
☐ Position size within 1-2% of account?
📖 How to Use This Dashboard
Step 1: Check Fear & Greed. Below 25 = historically good buy zone. Above 75 = historically good sell zone. Don’t fight extreme sentiment — but don’t trust it blindly either.
Step 2: Cross-reference funding rates. If Fear is extreme AND funding is deeply negative, shorts are paying longs — potential short squeeze. If Greed is extreme AND funding is very positive, longs are paying — potential long liquidation cascade.
Step 3: Check BTC levels. Where is BTC in its 30-day range? Near resistance = caution. Near support = potential opportunity. BTC leads the market.
Step 4: Review gainers/losers. Are alts following BTC or diverging? Divergence can signal rotation or regime change.
Step 5: Use the checklist. Before every trade, run through the 4 categories. If you can’t check off most items, the trade probably shouldn’t happen.
🔑 Crypto Market Intelligence FAQ
What is the Fear & Greed Index?
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index measures market sentiment on a 0–100 scale. 0 = Extreme Fear (panic selling), 100 = Extreme Greed (euphoric buying). It combines volatility, volume, social media, market cap, and Google Trends data. Many traders use it as a contrarian indicator: buy when others are fearful, sell when others are greedy.
What are funding rates?
Funding rates are periodic payments between long and short traders in perpetual futures. When funding is positive, longs pay shorts (bullish sentiment). When negative, shorts pay longs (bearish sentiment). Extreme funding rates often precede squeezes.
What is open interest?
Open interest (OI) is the total number of outstanding derivative contracts. Rising OI + rising price = new bullish positions. Rising OI + falling price = new bearish positions. Falling OI = positions are being closed (unwinding).
